Detroit-born educator based in Doral and Detroit, building full-time revolutionary infrastructure.
I’m Ali — a school teacher born and raised in Detroit, now working from Doral. Over the past 10 years, I have worked in healthcare and education as an instructor, clinician, and coach. Unfortunately, American institutions do not provide for the cost of living of their labor force. As such, I’m transitioning out of the classroom and into full-time revolutionary organizing. Not as a side hustle. Not as content. But as infrastructure — built from below, funded by the people. My work includes:-Community education (free, radical, and locally grounded)
-Zine and curriculum development
-Housing protection organizing
-International solidarity (Palestine, Haiti, Congo, Philippines)
-General Strike mobilizationMy home is the North End and Woodward Village neighborhoods of Detroit. I work alongside General Strike Detroit/Miami, PSL, DSA, and local housing justice networks. The orgs told me they can't fund revolutionaries full time.
So I’m building something that does. You’re not donating. You’re hiring a revolutionary. You are actively dismantling the system that works for the few, and sustaining a cog in the people's machine.
